And we’re just about ready to head out on holidays. Tomorrow afternoon we’re departing for Victoria, BC which will kick off nearly two weeks of vacation – sans computers. It’s been a long time (2 years) since we went on a legitimate work-less holiday, and we’re ready for it, let me tell you.
We’re looking forward to spending time with friends that we haven’t seen in quite a while, as well as spending time with my parents who live up-island. They just bought a sailboat and for part of our trip we’ll be sailing across Georgia Straight to check out a jazz festival at Pender Harbour.
One of the greatest parts of the trip, though, as I have grown to love, is simply stepping off the plane in Victoria and smelling the moist west coast air. Soon as that happens, I’ll be a very happy man. The blog will likely find itself abused and neglected during this trip, but I’ll try (not too hard, mind you) to get to it at least once. I’ll be taking lots of pictures though, and you can look forward to a complete wrap-up upon our return.
Until then, cheers!
Nice time lapse shot here!
