On this afternoon, I was jonesing to stretch my legs a bit but was at a loss of where to go without venturing too far from home. So settled on a few repeats of Stanley Park (in particular the Prospect Point hill). I accomplished 5 laps before it started getting a bit late (my energy though waning was fine). Lots of fun, however a bit mesmerizing after about the 3rd lap. I’m feeling very positive that I can do that hill several times without red-lining my heart bpm, and not dropping pace or cadence. Nearly identical climbs. Have a look! Quite an accomplishment when I think that only a few months ago, once trip up this hill was dreadful. Weather-wise, a beautiful afternoon.
